Competitors’ daughter killed 
in auto accident.

The Weak Get Eaten regrets to inform the lifting community of a terrible tragedy. Unfortunately we have all had too many of these recently.

"Rocky Rankin" was in an auto accident on Saturday May 12, 2001 and passed away this morning May 14, 2001. Rocky is the eight year old daughter of Pat and Vicky Rankin. Pat and Vicky have been a constant around the power lifting and now the strongman scene for many years. Pat is a serious contender and has devoted blood, sweat and tears to the sports.

"Rocky" was a beautiful little girl with many friends. She will be missed. No doubt that she has moved on to a better place.

Most of all Pat and Vicky need all of our support. I have kids and can not fathom what it would take to get through this kind of loss.
